ABOUT

 

Sheila Bajaj founded SMB Interiors in 2008 and is active in the design industry and a frequent participant at trade events globally. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kansas and graduated from the Inchbald School of Design in London, England. 

 

For over ten years, Sheila has been designing beautiful interiors in New York (Manhattan), Fairfield County (Greenwich, New Canaan, Stamford & Westport), Florida (West Palm Beach and Naples), and London (Belgravia and Kensington). Projects range from full-service interior design to architectural details and space planning, working with clients, architects and contractors from concept to completion. She works within the framework of the key components of good design: function, lines, space, light, and texture.

A dual citizen of the United States and United Kingdom, Sheila has travelled extensively and has lived in New York City; Washington, D.C; Fairfield County, Connecticut; and London, UK.  She has been a successful investor in residential and commercial real estate properties where appropriate design has had a positive impact on the project’s success.

Sheila currently lives in New Canaan, CT, with her husband, two children and two adorable dogs.
